It amazes me sometimes what people post because it is anonymous. I guess their real character is best shown when they can hide. Some of the posts on here indicate some people did not really deserve to be laid off....they should have been fired a long time ago.

I am convinced that a lot of Canadians have no sense of humor and whine a lot.
I am also quite surprised by the immaturity displayed on this thread. When we had layoffs on the Canada side of things, I didn't see anything like this. We were just sad to have to lose some really good people. Of course there was lot of "fat" trimmed from the company... But I would never speak like some of these people of anyone who got laid off. It's a horrible situation to be in, regardless of who the person is.
@OP you write your rant anonymously. So....you are doing the very thing about which you complain...just sayin'.
