Employees are treated like crap at Avid - face it. We are being used until LHJ and his financial cronies are ready in under 2 years to cash out - this is not a conspiracy theory - this is fact. That's their specialty and the incestuous nature of the investor community - just like any other industry - has allowed enough of the business plan moving forward and related information to leak.

Greenfield was disliked in engineering. The day he sent his farewell email you could hear people cheering. So we hoped Louis would be an improvement. The first company meeting we found out Louis has 3 admins. Who needs 3 admins? At least GG got by with one. At that point I knew Avid was going to become even more top heavy. I firmly believe the board decided to suck Avid dry. Avid went from $200 million in cash to almost 0 in 3 years.
At this point I am glad I got canned 2 years ago. I have a better job in a growing company.
And I love how certain people in Sales got the axe when the spastic, bumbling clod that's been in charge of Sales for a few years prevails (he even got promoted last month to oversee Marketing too now because the past few CMO's he interviewed and recommended didn't work out) when all of the past several quarters are falling below Sales forecast that he is responsible for! WTF?
