Same here. Worked in IT for years. One day they throw you out like garbage and treat you like a criminal. Escorted out the door. No way to treat people.

I worked for UBS for 14 years IT department...they put me out the door like garbage...
So "everyone" is doing it. Bunch of scumbags on Wall Street. UBS is a failed firm learning from the American greed ways. And by the way contractors do not make big money anymore. The Indians on h1b visas have cheapened the market and suppressed wages.
It's is a self serving culture which the managers look for ways to enrich themselves and their cronies by passing workload or revenue targets to the soldiers. Managing up is pioritises over managing clients
That's why we call them contractors, they have a contract, and once the contract is up, we let them go. Do not blame UBS for this, everyone is doing it and that's why all of them are working for big money
