Some management in HR was let go. The person below me is correct- about 35 let go today.
This is a mother of all layoffs, it will not matter if you are a slumdog or warlord, no one is safe.
Any management, supervisors, directors or people from India included in those IT layoffs? Was it just the typical white male workerbee layoffs?
Bull $hit. Devon has no leadership. Very few at have faith in leadership we just like th fat paycheck and work hard for them. We do what the bosses tell us so we keep our income and jobs. The good ole boy system will rule here. It not what you know but whose butt you kiss
Saw the list of terms from today. 34 total. A mixture of HR and IT. One Director. I'm sure there's more in store tomorrow.

The trolls on this site can't stand the fact that there are not people coming on here bad mouthing Devon after being let go. That is a testament to the character of Devon and the character of the employees Devon hires.
It wasn't announced probably because the number was under 100. Hopefully Devon isn't doing this to avoid news coverage. I'm not sure how more days people can take like today. Just get it over with quickly.
