No pay cuts to employees this year, only a salary freeze unless you are being promoted. Bonuses were paid out on par to last years which were very good - mine was 10% higher. TC is still very profitable, they are not an oil company.

There may be more trimming to come and the truth is we have asked our contracting staff including construction contractors to take pay cuts. Not sure about 18% for sure but 10% is the number I have heard.

There useless leaches! If TCPL wants to save money they should just cut these high priced middleman goofs out and draw up a contract right with me and save themselves the expensive middleman fees for nothing! They dont do nothing for me amyways! Theres your cost savings right there!

Who called you? And does the 18% cut apply to employees as well?

Inspectors are getting called and asked about taking a 18% pay cut working at transcanada. Apparently transcanada asked them to call people about it. No timelines or any real details but I no a lot of the guys were called.
