Staples has enjoyed WORLD CLASS shrink control for a decade. They were able to achieve this for two reasons. Seasoned (Old School) General Managers and a top notch Loss Prevention team.
First they sacked all the seasoned managers (a few still hang on but not for long) and now they have canned the LP folk. .............What will come of this?......
Well this....
They will continue to have declining top line sales AND declining profit while they also get screwed by internal and external theft by mistreated associates, vendors and customers who don't give a sh*t about Staples.
