I was told they "security" has went around placing an invisible mark over your office. That is only visible with special glasses. If you can get the glasses you can remove he mark and be safe.
I was told by a contact I Internal Audit that they were told today's layoff of their VP was timed in front of the rest of the layoffs because the board's audit committee meeting is Thursday and it had to happen now so it could be reported. Sounds like there will be a lot of high level cuts like this position.

Historically people haven't disappeared immediately from the company directory. They will usually be on Lync as away for awhile then they will show up later on in Lync with term behind their name until they are completely removed. Unless one of the recent upgrades has changed it that is how it worked in Sept when one of my friends was released.
