With the E&E department supervisor roles being cut and the combining of other roles it begs the question if TRU will soon have no full time positions. For a retail chain that only uses 25 to 50 people per store I have to wonder how that would work, especially as they lag so far behind all other retailers of their scale in pay. I also wonder if the managers holding out hope for a stock offering realize to cut cost further and make a profit for the shareholders would mean replacing them with cheaper options.

The in-store notifications began today. After 6 years as a high performer, my position is being cut as of Friday. I have until Wednesday to choose severance or part-time. Enjoy your bonus, Dave.
