Thread regarding State Street Corp. layoffs

Seriously, is anyone getting a raise this year?

I know I'm not joking, are raises (if you can call .05% a raise) being given out? Usually they start giving bonuses and raises and it's always so secretive and hush hush. Most companies enjoy giving out raises and bonuses. State Street makes you grovel for the barely cola raise if you are even fortunate to get that.

Anyone with the inside deal pass it along.

Wow the good old days when you could be rewarded and afford to have a nice buffer financially and save for a future. Lets implement more regulations and squelch any chance of a true financial recovery. How's everyone's 401k and Ira looking lately? Not so good. :(

Sad. Back around the year 2000 bonuses for Grade 14's were over $2000 and raises were 3-5%

I heard that there will be a cap on bonuses with anything over the following amounts would be deferred cash paid out over 4 years. I am not sure about lower levels.

VP: $3000

AVP: $2000

I understand that Jay and the rest of the executive team are quite pleased with their raises and bonuses this year! State Street's 1% will always crush it's working class!
