Thanks to his over-bloated ego everyone is now paying the price. Mark, you will never be The King you want to be. No matter how many people you step on trying to get there!

apwl, you are exactly right. Everyone has a right to their opinion. Jet, has obviously become distraught over some of the comments, but the truth hides from no one. The curse of incompetence is those individuals who are incompetent rarely realize they are incompetent and therefore are powerless to do anything to improve. This is especially true when those individuals are in positions of power and influence. Arrogance accompanied by incompetence is a sure path to the poor house. Jet, you are right in that distasteful name calling is not productive...nor are distasteful metaphors. The facts speak for themselves and the facts point to a company on the brink of distinction in its current form. For those who can read and interpret correctly, the facts are in print and not anyones opinion.
Jet (likely aka Jim Miller), The Judge has a right to his/her opinion. Sounds like a pretty informed person to me. If you don't like the heat, Jim, why don't you just leave. Oh that's right, you couldn't find another job.
@FLzNIYH-rar Pretty easy to call Mr. Miller distastefull names....think you have stones enough to walk up to him face to face and make his day with some of your brilliant insights???....I think I would bet the farm on Jim.
From what we see here the Judge would't know a fact if it jumped up and bit him or her squarely in the ass.
No one forced you x-Chaparral employees to stay. Were you so brilliant with your management ploys you should have started your own company. The reason you couldn't is displayed clearly on this board....you simply don't pack the gear to do the job.
Good luck to you....you are going to need it...
5kic, if you want to know what the future looks like then look no further than Chesapeake and Linn.
And what have been the Gaines from the increased debt. Has anyone ever seen an increase in value on their LTIs? Even when oil was $100+. If this group of leaders can't create value during a boom while spending 100s of millions of dollars what does the future look like if prices stay in the $50s for years to come?
1kmv, you are right in saying people need to move on and for me I am happy for everyone that is surviving during this downturn in the oil and gas industry. Now, surviving is one thing and leaving a sinking ship is necessary in order to survive. You need to ask yourself, is the company better off now than it was in 2008 ? If you are honest with yourself, you will see that the company has dug a deeper hole going into further debt for 8 yrs now and that debt is now strangling the life out of the company's ability to dig out of that hole. The facts are out there for everyone to see and the data supports the facts...all you need to do is open your eyes and jump on that life boat before it is too late !
You all a bunch of sore losers. Every energy company is having issues across the globe. There are a bunch of former employee cry babies on each of those boards complaining and putting others down that are still employed. Why don't you focus your energy on getting a new job rather than living your life in the past.
Sorry, but you all have it wrong. The Judge is not CK. Your right, CK is probably bitter. However, The Judge is speaking facts and there is no bitterness surrounding the facts.
The Judge wasn't laid off, she quit. And she didn't like the consequences, resulting in her bitterness and obsession with the good folks still here at Chaparral.
Overuse of 'King' in your comments is what gave you away.
Anyone can post here. Lighten up. Anyone could be next top to bottom. Look at Sandridge. That's brutal!
Come on Judge, Iwv needs a lawn mower to make a living...Iwv knows mowing lawns is as good as working at Chaparral.
iwv, Should an HR person be posting these comments ? Maybe they are just truthful comments, maybe not liked after all especially if they apply to YOU my friend.
Iwv you know Chaparral doesn't layoff HR! Come on now! Everyone of them has a SR or a manager title even if they don't manage anyone. I sure am glad they have kept the recruiter!
Hey Judge,
Lots of anger and resentment in your comments. Not enjoying life, it seems, so you become obsessed with your former employer's layoffs.com site?
It is rather obvious who you are.
Should an HR person really be posting those types of comments?
Wonder what your current employer would think about that?
Because of their employment agreements, it might take a Board action (at least for Reynolds).
How about firing Miller and Reynolds?
CCMP has tons of O&G experience (look at where their guys came from). Reynolds was THEIR GUY, and he has taken control from Mark (he pushed Mark out of the way, and has excluded him from many operational decisions for the last 2 years), and he has the backing of the Board. True, Mark elevated Miller, but Earl kept him and gave him increasing responsibility. If you want to know why the company is going down the tubes, look no further than Earl. The irresponsible spending, incessant drilling (much of it a total waste of money), and the almost total lack of workovers is a 100% Earl decision. Should Miller go? Of course, and it is over due, but he is carrying out Earl's wishes because he's a total kiss-ass. Earl is the problem, not Mark.
Maybe the truth needs to set CCMP free! They are so screwed. Don't invest in something you know nothing about. Or at least look BEHIND the curtain.....I mean PowerPoint first!
He may not be the King, but he is the KingFischer ! He has sponsored the incompetence of Miller for years...Miller is nothing more than Fischer's "Court Jester". Mark has lost MILLIONS keeping that buffoon in a leadership role. You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you Free!
