When the construction trades started hiring all the pimps and their illegal crews back in the 80s I predicted the entire housing market boom and bust. All of the truly skilled carpenters and other tradesmen fled the west coast and southwest due to falling wages and the late 80s building crunch. This accelerated the problem into a downward spiral of demise.
