This is based on an internal directory count. My guess there is a target of 5,000 staff globally between Q4 and end of Q1 2016 with about 4,000 staff gone to date. EMC has about $250M allocated to staff reduction costs. That works out at approximately $50K cost per employee. I'd be curious if anyone comes up with the same calculations.
