Thread regarding Broadcom Corp. layoffs

Total BS

The only people who think this buyout is good are the people in Malaysia and China. Almost everybody here in America will be replaced. There will be nothing left here in America to do except for sales. I hope Henry got everything he needed, because he left a majority of people here in America without a job. Broadcom is dead and Avago will make sure to tell everybody that they are in charge. The people I've heard from Avago here are A-holes and like to flex their muscles that they are running the show now. Broadcom Ltd. will slowly fall apart and also fall behind in technology advancements and deliveries because they're so in to Lean Manufacturing that it will kill the flow of how things work in this industry.

Goodbye old Broadcom. It was fun while it lasted.

F--- off Hock Tan and all your cronies. May your success be short lived and I hope you suffer for tearing this company apart and shipping everything over seas.

CIO made it clear today that most classic BRCM IT jobs will be moved to India (where CIO's from) and Malaysia(where CEO's from) for cost saving. Only single digit IT would be around in Irvine and the remaining IT team in transition have to apply for them. So 300+ families are affected in IT.

Good luck, my esteemed engineering coworkers, enjoy Google, Box and other new technologies your new IT ask you to use, I am sure you won't miss a bit of your old IT while you count the bonus you'll be getting later this year, oh, if you don't get laid off later this year.

There has already been plenty of layoffs. Many people lost there jobs on day one and were walked out last Thursday. Many of them had 10-17 years of experience at Broadcom and had seen the company grow into a technological leader. Unfortunately, many more will be Hock'ed and Broadcom LTD. won't be able to meet the high demands of customers like Apple and Samsung. Hock is going to rip the company apart and sell to the highest bidder, turning it into a chop shop. RIP Broadcom 'Merica. On the bright side, they fired all the security so anyone can come and enjoy this beautiful place and take what you please.

Uh have you not seen the folks being exited out of Irvine campus last Thursday? There have been layoffs already! And don't be fooled, the folks in transition will be laid off at their end date!

How dare you insult our great new leader? If it wasn't for him, your RSU shares would have been worth ~$30 instead of ~$50. May he has mercy on you and let you keep your job.
