They treat people like crap. By far worse job ever. They have been taking all jobs we can move to away from us and outsource to India. Now we can longer move unless out of the door.. They want push the older people out because we have more benefits. I believe will be a lot changes once Dell steps in..

"Been with company for very long time but not same now."
I can relate to that!
When I joined, along with so many others back in 2000, I thought it was the greatest company ever. Top quality product (Symmetrix), great technical support (Hopkinton, Sydney & Cork), good morale, top notch customer support, excellent training, good remuneration. Then it all started to change. Then despite continuing double-digit growth, the belt tightened, and tightened.
"Got a complaint?...there's the door"
Its just another company now....If you thought it was bad before, wait. While management cheerleads the reality is sneaking out.....there is a come to Jesus on who get account control...While the messaging is DELL EMC still managed by EMC management, locally Dell is reminding EMC folks just who bought who. This horror story is just getting started....Dell has lost money last 3 years, and they will s--- the remaining life out of what once was EMC. Dell has already noted that they need to drive $2Mil of cost out of the business over the next 3 years. Thanks, Joe Tucci, for the ultimate sellout. Enjoy your $27Mil.
Thats exactly what they have been doing for the last 5 years. No concern about Customer Service / Customer Satisfaction, those have gone drastically downhill. I was laid off 6 years ago. I feel like moving to Bangalore India and applying/working at EMC's marvelous support facility there. Sad to see this once-great company become this .
