I am a former disgruntled employee just laid off of staples with a warning to any drivers going back. The reason why they are calling you back is because the merger did not go through and it will end the retail side.At this point the higher ups will send as many drivers out and get packages off for a quick profit, and to also jack up the stock price.Believe me,you are plan D.They would have never called you back if the merger went through.Lots of higher ups have bought low and are looking to cash in.From what I heard you will be lucky to have 6 months on the road before they do the same to you again. If you were smart you would have used your time and the what unemployment benefits were given to you, whether that was your Cdl being paid for or going to school,etc..etc.If you did not then maybe you deserve each other.Stay away!Stay very far away! You know the saying, fool me once.....sincerely The Framingham snitch

They brought back the Nashville Drivers.....heard it was a good chunk of change being offered....I guarantee they will see the door again in less than a year.
Is this really going to happen? Most of the trucks have been sold or shipped to other parts of the country.
Men that's dirty!
Before I got laid off I took a see it before believing it attitude when visiting this site.Slowly but surely the more posts I read the more that came true. Some were right on the button as a matter of fact.Granted there were some trolls on here as well, but when some posters predictions happened exactly how they said they would I started to get worried. However,I still thought it couldent happen to my hub because our workers did there job,the volume was high,Yada,Yada. Then it happened, the word that in 3 months we were closing down, and the end was painful. It went down exactly like other posters said it would.I believe everything the OP is saying and so should you.If your going back to take 6 months more of punishment then good luck!No offence,I think you deserve it.Take some pride in yourself and say no to staples
