I have low pay and find it hard to live on the small pay, but I do manage. So you suggest up and leave instead of sticking it out? My guess is the people that are on a higher pay scale might be more at risk of losing their job or am I wrong in that thought? Or are the lowest paid easily expendable?

I agree with the other responses. Get out, the sooner the better.
You say possibly "sticking it out"? There is no "sticking it out" because it DOES NOT END. The company has been laying off every year for over a decade. Feel like sticking it out another 10 or 20 years? I don't believe it's going to get better any time in the near (or distant) future. Find a company where you don't have to "stick it out" for your entire career.
Thanks I appreciate your responses.
I seen may low pay workers get laid off, replaced by temps , outsourced.
If they can replace a job with a temp or outsourced it to another company they will
Do not be lulled into a false sense of security--everyone including you are at risk of losing your job if you remain at State Street.
You say that despite your low pay you are managing to get by. Ask yourself this--if you lose your job unexpectedly how will you manage?
Move now while you still can and are not beaten up emotionally and physically by your time at this toxic company.
