All speculation.. And the ones who decide know we are living on anxiety.. THEY DO NOT CARE.. We are rows in an XLS spreadsheet.. When things are good you are part of a team.. Unlike most teams that know you are only as strong as your weakest link.. That sh!t does not apply when the chips are down for E&P companies.. Nothing personal it's just business.. The profession we chose.. It was good while it lasted.. You are not the only one going through this..

as I understand it, offers for a date or any intimate favor is welcomed and will decrease your chance of getting laid off. remember devon management is crawling with crabs so clean up after you are done.

What difference does it make? You're already looking for new employment, and you aren't going to walk out now without a severance package. It's likely that your manager has little say in the matter anyhow. Management says to rank your people, then management comes back with the list of names getting cut.
