Without any way to verify if people are real Avid employees ex or otherwise I'm not sure how one can judge Avid or any other brand for that matter based on this website.

I was laid off, and it really was a financial decision. That in no way excuses the execs and board at Avid, who have been totally incapable, on every level, of navigating a dynamic industry. Sure, employees have a responsibility, but the fact of the matter is, none of the current execs at Avid have any domain knowledge at all. None. It's truly incredible. It would be like if Ford's execs were all from the food industry. It would be absurd...and that's exactly what's up with Avid. Totally rudderless, with a micro-managing ego-maniac running things, and blaming everything but himself for the lack of success.
