the black SUVs are still at the airport being loaded with coke and scotch. they will be hitting it hard this weekend formulating a plan to add small personal insults to each and every termination.
Meanwhile John Richels is laughing his nuts off (with a Canadian lawyer accent) at the fun he created pissing away 10 billion dollars on stock buybacks, texas/Alabama goat pasture, money loosing joint ventures and SAP upgrades. God is it good to be God. Right John?

@FG. Your post is BS. No layoffs today. Execs sent email yesterday saying it will be weeks before they execute the plan. No employees have been laid off yet, only contractors.
Most of the management/executive level employees, that are being let go today at 10AM are driving Devon owned fleet vehicles. Once termination is complete, they will no longer be allowed to utilize said vehicle to drive home. So, Devon has rented a large number of SUVs to shuttle these people home, after bring let go. I believe it is a nice gesture, but one that will virtually go unnoticed with our community.
Hubby says they were in Artesia too.
