Avid is a great company with a great vision. This are choppy right now and sometimes layoffs are necessary. It's really not cool to criticize the company in public like this, especially if that company puts food on your table, pays your bills and provides steady work. I know that losing jobs is hard but you really need to put things into perspective

Much worst. Moral is at a all-time low. And more layoffs for 2017 are in the pipeline...
What can you say now? did we get any better?
Louis is that you?
Pathetic PR person, you are. Employees are treated like crap at Avid - face it. We are being used until LHJ and his financial cronies are ready in under 2 years to cash out - this is not a conspiracy theory - this is fact. That's their specialty and the incestuous nature of the investor community - just like any other industry - has allowed enough of the business plan moving forward and related information to leak.
Enjoy that kool-aid.
I hope they will fire skanks from my work space and that delivery guy who always have to hit on them...
Who programs all the stuff? Me!
Who is responsible for new updated features, putting Pro Tools in line with other DAWs? Me!
Who has a Harvard's degree and have to listen to some imbecile skanks throughout the day conversing between themselves about their new boyfriends, whom they apparently switch every second week... Me!
Fire those skanks, stop playing the fake equality card by hiring imbecile college used up skanks...
Who won't see any new feature once I had enough of this disrespect and quit? You!
Females got nothing to do in my line of work, they are there just to browse their facebook and dating sites and make a company look good and "gender fair", stop disrespecting accomplished, talented people doing all the work and keeping company's flagship product afloat!
Can you please share whatever you are smoking? Here in a Northern CA location, just one or two will share your false optimism. What vision may I ask? Selling snake oil to our customers? My linked profile is updated and ready to go.
Does not change the fact that I am now hesitant to upgrade $500k equipment. As a customer, Avid support is shit (hello Manila) and I cannot trust things getting better with less US staff.
