Thread regarding FMC Technologies Inc. layoffs

Stephenville facility intent on destroying plant with the operational excellence department. Is it like this everywhere?

The OE dept. was revamped a little over a year ago and the first mistake was hiring a known criminal to run it, Jim Logan. He is incompetent and devoid of all leadership abilities. It is mind numbing watching so many terrible ideas implemented while good ones are ignored. The plant has just made the huge mistake of placing him I charge of quality dept. too. This is not going to be good for this plant. It will cost many many jobs and I'm sure none of them will be in the OE department which is a complete waste of money.

Does anybody else have any good stories about OE

The OE idiots in Erie have already blown 2 major deals that would have brought nice profits in. OE is a corporate creation to use as an excuse to eliminate jobs.

By any chance is Jim Logan from Erie, or do you know if he ever worked for the Measurement operation in Erie? There was a guy named Jim Logan who ran the plant operations at Measurement Solutions...probably about 8 years ago or so, and ran the plant operations like a military base and he was the "Commandant". It could be just a coincidence that they have the same name, but I hope it's not the same guy. Kind of reminds of me of the new "Hatchet Man" that has blown on to the scene and is intent on decimating the operations. When JG said things will be painful, that probably was an understatement.
