With staffing beefed up in India Support Center, Looks like VMware shifting its business there. VMware India especially tech support business in on the roll.

Where are you getting this information from? VMWare is not yet bought by DELL so DELL VMWARE jobs are not related to VMWare support. Further, VMWare, until announced, is still an autonomous company. VMWare engineers are not DELL engineers. Growth will be seen in India, Costa Rica, and most importantly, the United States. I am not sure of China or otherwise, but the whole hysteria about India being the only support center is pretty much fear mongering at this point.

I am sure it's coincidence, not a horrible corporate entity outsourcing US jobs to India so Mike Dell can make a few extra bucks. Mike Dell is a cancer on the American Economy.
Looks like the Dell model of outsourcing American workers is starting early. Shame on Dell. I will be pushing hard to migrate away from VMware at work now. Time to accept the death of VMware, it started when they sold to EMC, and it's ending with Dell buying both companies.
Looks like the Dell model of outsourcing is the real reason behind these layoffs.
