He was immediately replaced by some EMC executive.... It's part of the Dell restructure IMHO.

nice of him to look out for the rest of us at the company.
But look at all the good work he has done!

he always cashed out and leaves during this time.. I worked with him at Mcafee.. he was there all of a couple months when intel purchased them.. cashed out and went to Skype.. was a skype a few months before MS purchased them.. cashed out and left there.. I thought he had gone to twitter at some point.. no doubt he's cashing out at vmw and finding the next cash cow.
