In Regards to your legal question the package is the same as all.
If you notice the Date . They have kept many employees on the books until 3/28 as that when the will
reconcile this as an expense cut to match their horrible projected q1 bookings. Run while you can
I got the same standard package.
VMWARE is suffering. Weak middle management decisions leave a lot of employess woundering direction
and nothing gets done. There is no accountability and it is definitely who you know.
Many interviews are done internally no round table perspective. You don't get to interview a potential member on your team. These cuts were all financial and they lost a lot of good talent this round. These CEO AND VP decisions are what provided direction but of course they never get asked to leave.
They are no longer the top designed so many companies do it better. Not bitter at all but we are all foreshadowed with the public view. Ever since the buyout VMware does not sit as the "Golden Gym' Rather the outcasted stepchild. and has not done much about it..
You must be new to Capitalism.
Just reading thru the material it's pretty tainted towards employer. U give up all rights and remedies. Has anyone successfully negotiated a better than the standard deal ofor 2 months + 2 months +2k?
do you have a legal question? vmware has lawyers, and layoffs are pretty common. not sure what kind of advice you are looking for.
