How many engineers are getting cut? are they going to be specifically from the areas being divested or will it be the older engineers close to retirement age?

I would think the areas being divested would be the last hit actually because they're trying to sell their own area for quick cash. They'll probably get hit right after a deal is made. Just a guess though.
