HCL is clueless, I have worked with them and they are incompetent fools. I am glad to be leaving and taking my dignity with me.

dumb--ses, they make the people to work for hours until 4-5 am. We worked our a-- off to reach the goal. The managers are the most cunning now a days - they just want the work done no matter what your s--- or die...one lead guy in a department was going thru rough times with his work and all his manager to do is to review the docs. the docs were sent to mgr at least a fortnight, but that dumb a-- manager didn't care until the last minute. In the end, mgr just skimmed the doc and sent it out for approval.(of course, doc is full of mistakes for the lead to correct - what else can he deliver at the last minute - illiterate stupid). Obviously work is delayed - the higher mgmt asked why was the delay - the stupid mgr - blamed the lead for it. Well, the lead did not stop there - filed a complained with HR and explained what was said above.
Does anybody know what was the result for this : Lay off.
Finally, the lead got laid off because of the grudge from the mgr. Honestly, people think - they are GODS when they become managers - Scumbags.
Yeah....it is NOT going well....DUH!
Email from titled: ITOne Service Portal Rollout
Dated: 2-29-2016
As part of the go live review for the ITOne Service Portal, it was agreed to deliver Technical Go-Live over the weekend of February 26, 2016. The launch of the ITOne Service Portal to our user-community is being delayed to allow us to strengthen the user experience and communications.
The team has worked very hard to build this global capability. Postponing the go-live for our users is by no means a reflection of the effort and work the team has put into the program. We want to thank the team for all of their effort and attention to detail. The team will continue to work to deliver the rescheduled user launch over the next four weeks.
Next Steps
· Complete the technical release over the February 26th weekend. The
technical release will not be rolled out to users of the system.
· Review and enhance Service Catalog user experience.
· Effective and timely communication to the stakeholders.
· Complete training and Hyper care support readiness.
These actions do not impact the IT Service Desk which has fully transitioned to HCL, our Service Partner. This continues as business as usual.
Again, this decision was made to strengthen the user experience – one of our key organizational objectives. Thank you for your support of this effort.
We look forward to a successful user launch.

Funny thing once happened during my time there. Coworker was dating another worker in BD, in a totally different dept and was kept on the down low, no socializing, no lunches, no interaction during work, ever. A manager found out and decided to tell the person he didn't agree with it, etc and that is should not be happening! Really? There is a policy at BD where this is allowed, just cannot be a direct report to, etc. Turns out, this manager, one of his direct reports decided to start sticking it to an intern who came on, both in the same dept with the this very same manager. Not once was this addressed, most likely because the BD associate in question is perceived as a golden boy and the IT dept would fall apart completely without him. Just another way how BDs IT leaders are useless and cater towards themselves and those they need to make them look good. Now it wouldn't be right for me to give out names, just going to with Connecticut.
Fixing your statement:
They will make you work like harder than 50 dogs on a sled team without any support and then dump your "overpaid as they don't want to pay for quality" ass on the street.
cheers!
BD actually stands for "Being Douchbags". Apparently they are very good at doing that.
shame really. BD had a really great talented diverse IT staff. Many people with great experience - best I have ever seen.... HCL isn't even close... what was accomplished by past associates can't be duplicated by a cut rate POS H1-B visa manipulating offshore outsourcing company. turns the "bd values" into just another slogan. They only need one anymore "it's all about the bottom dollar".
It is a sad state of affairs but this is what corporate America has wanted for years with regards to IT. They want it cheap, they want it fluid and they don't want to believe that "you get what you pay for" is reality.
You pay shit for people and you will only get shit people. Sorry for the bluntness but the time for truth is now. BD has fallen for it's own lies and everyone will pay the price.
I agree, it's not worth the money to stay. Lets face the facts, BD has nothing to offer an IT professional at any level. Even if you're not currently on the hit list YOU SOON WILL BE. Lets be clear, HCL has 10 underpaid pseudo-slaves to replace each IT associate. They will make you work like a dog without any support and then dump your overpaid ass on the street.
