I was threw away by Cummins in 10 minutes after 7 years service. No explanations at all. My rankings were 2 or 2 + in the past years. I just relocated here by the company. I bought a house and sold my old house. No compensation for my losses. My 10 years daughter is studying here and is forced to leave asap! I wish Cummins go to hell!

Cummins will go bankrupt in 2020
I was just part of the major Cummins downsizing (2020), HR came in out of nowhere and fired 4 of us at the same time, They acted like they cared about our feelings and were empithetic, but it was all a load of c-ap. Some had been there for 20 plus years......STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!
I was hired in 2014, they moved me to Indiana but I was smart and not moved to Columbus. I was looking within 6 months. Why? Because it was the most poorly organized, over the top cronyism, and little or no knowledge how IT actually works in a company. You have clicks that if you are not from India you are excluded from, where they talk behind your back and treat you like an idiot because you are not a male india, while being threaten by anyone with any skills and knowledge.
The kicker is that I was laid off in November 2015 and within days I started to get recruiters contacting me about doing the same job that I got laid off from.

Same here. I was deemed high potential, had 1 and 2 rankings. Was just approached a few months ago for a promotion too. Let go after 10 years of service while others in my team, some that were in the employees improvement program, remain. It is sad when a company choses to let go its high performers without even giving them options (i.e., salary cut, other job opportunities, loss of direct reports, etc.). So much for loyalty and good performance. Guess they are satisfied with average and lower caliber employees, and they complain when they lack talent!
I'll drink to that!
