The Midland Business Unit has been sold, or a significant portion of it. Thanks for nothing Andy Coolidge and Peter McDonald. Your fixation on one artificial lift method and inability to understand how to economically maintain base oil production helped contribute to this divestiture. Devon's absurd EHS policies also played a huge part in making these properties uneconomic. Devon is not a lean company no matter how many "six sigma black belts" you hire. Everyone will soon suffer the consequences of Devon being a pathetic operater that can't control costs.

100% agree with the previous comment - since John passed away and Larry retired this company has lost almost everything that made it a great place to work.
The company I joined 8 years ago under Larry and then Johns leadership is NOT the same company anymore. Integrity is just a screen for shareholders to think it exists to lure investors in to buy a stock that doesn't back what's on their list of values. People are not their most valuable asset.
Andy Coolidge that little sawed off bastard is a straight up corporate yes man
meant they always sell on 12-1 of every year
go and look at the history, those guys always sell stock on 12/1/2015- nothing new here
NUFF' said - When they tell you there is NO money to pay out for bonuses in Feb you can know that there was enough money to pay the inner circle... http://insidertrading.org/?sort_by=acceptance_datetime&asc=&symbol=DVN&date_from=2015-12-01&date_to=2015-12-21&submit=+GO+ - BTW everything that they sold was replaced with new options for the 2015 calendar year - http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/dvn/sec-filings - Ironic that days before they did the Felix deal they all dumped their stock at $46....
Isn't it crazy that top execs like Dave and Darryl are still drawing salaries of $2+ million dollars? Wow! Where is the integrity gone?
Coolidge = tool
