Devon just laid off an east TX production engineer. He was a younger guy and I forgot his name. Who is next? Could his job have been saved had Devon not run such a sloppy and haphazard operation in other areas (Delaware Basin) Enough fraud has occurred in Artesia to pay this young man's salary for 100 or more years. And that's a fact

Devon's so called Integrity is a joke!
If integrity was..... We would all be desk jockies at Devon
*you're
Integrity is at the core of everything we do. If you were aware of fraud you should have reported it. Your part of the problem.
Everything listed below is referring 2013/2014. when the boom was going full speed. And those watching the spending were asleep at the wheel.
A large amount of fraud occurred with the companies hauling produced water in New Mexico. This was a 7 to 8 figure loss.
Wholesale incompetence regarding surface equipment rental: This would be things like generators, temp facilities, frac tanks, and the like. In many instances the equipment was left on location for months after Devon no longer needed it and Devon continued to pay rental rates for such equipment, adding tens of thousands of dollars to monthly LOE. Happened on many wells. It might have been purely incompetence but when such large sums of money are changing hands there is always potential for kickbacks. Anyone who has been in the oilfield long enough knows how this game is played.
Certainly this wreckless management of expenses does not exist in all BUs, but it did in Artesia, in 2013/2014
Devon has liars and backstabbers, over way over the top egos and a bunch of damn departments that don't add value
Last I heard artesia was working with less and doing more
Drilling fast and getting great results
So what fraud??
What fraud do you speak of?? This is Devon we have high standards
