A complete reorg is underway. Simplification, which means less people. IT is hated and the cuts are coming, LOTS and LOTS!! of cuts. The department has not delivered. Sorry you may not have a very merry Christmas. Don't let the door knob hit you on the way out.

what do you think is about to happen any idea?
There are definitely too many supervisors around. I know of a group where there are 2 supervisors managing 8 total people. Really? Do away with one and probably hire two more people who actually do work.
Hmmm... Let see ... does not take more than one guy to manage Active Directory ... Devon IT has more than one person to do just that..and some more peeps to just playing around with powershell, claiming these are improvement due to automation... business dictates IT, not the other way around. ..these useless peeps need to go...
Many idiots think the IT department is too big, so they hack n slash. Then they complain when things don't work as well and start to crash. Then they complain when there isn't the innovation they want. Then they complain that IT isn't doing their jobs and wonder WTF is wrong with IT. Hmmm.....let's see.....maybe you shouldn't have cut out all the IT peeps because you know nothing about running an IT department nor how many people it takes.
Devon IT is a big cost center to the company. There are too many not delivering and just collecting big pay check. Need to lay-off at least 40% of them.
Just remember when you fire all the IT staff you're sending a message to the local workforce. Look at Hertz - they fired all the IT talent here in OKC and now no one will work there. Well no one with any talent - so they're scraping the bottom of the barrel or having to pay exorbitant salaries to get the top talent. Meanwhile other companies are able to easily attract the IT talent because they know how difficult the job in IT is.
IT Salaries always make my head spin
