I guess all those people that wanted asked to work from home during townhall got there wish
Anonymous205494- You are correct in everything you said. Next get ride of the contractors that they pay huge amount for and all their expenses. Thousands that add up to millions. Mismanaged IT at the top.
Anonymous205494 - Your arguments have the intellectual content of a high school sophomore. Get back to work and maybe you won't be laid off next.
Who is going to be there to do the actual work if they keep laying off all the IT workers but keeping the ridiculous 3 to 5 layers of IT management? IT supervisors through Directors do not add any operational value at all they sit in meetings almost all day almost everyday trying to decide amongst themselves what would be the best course of action for their little peon workers or coming up with the next way to overhaul change control or trying to come up with catchy names for the next enterprise system overhaul. About 90% of IT management could go and Devon would be better off for it.
Nothing to surprise or bitch about. There are way too many dead weight in Devon IT Dept. Not delivering enough business value added. Need to lay-off those who do not deliver. This group is a big cost center to Devon company.
What the hell📞☎️📹📸⏱🕯
Andy Goldman - Not sure what team he was on. Afraid to look, afraid big brother is tracking everything. I heard he was caught reading this sight. :| . It is not going to be pretty in 2016. I expect 50% staff reduction. All IT projects will be stopped unless they show positive cash flow. It is just so cold to lay people off the week before Thanksgiving. Really horrible.
That sucks! Anyone know what teams got hit?
