500 laid off yesterday mainly to do with the products that are no longer core. I know of one manager in services enablement that got chopped. Another 500 to get cut in Jan 2016.

Great double jeopardy. Can't even say this and this area is done so those folk can relax but instead another 1.5 months or so of everybody on pins and needles. This and the Charlie Sheen reference will only increase the turn over rate which in last meeting before all of this they already said was like 9% since February.
When asked what Citrix was going to do to make the workplace an engaging and fun place to work again to make the employees more productive and help meet the established goals more quickly his response was that they would do so by meeting those goals and be like Charlie Sheen. Winning until you catch an STD i guess.
203882 - how did the Charlie Sheen reference go? Was it pissing away lots of money in the name of winning?
My favorite part is when asked if we got the clear in November - are we clear for January 2016?
Totally dodged the question.
There's not 500 gone because a lot of them will have been notified meaning probably only the US-based people are actually gone.
Of the 500 let go, from which locations (or which locations took the brunt)?
with the 500 left waiting with a cloud of doom until January.
Most tone deaf meeting ever, when asked how Citrix would reinvigorate a demoralized workforce the CEO invokes Charlie Sheen.
