Thread regarding Zenith Education Group layoffs

Accountability

An article from the International Business Tmes talks about faster loan forgiveness for CCI students. Further in the article it reads, "Harris (California AG) would not confirm or deny whether her office is conducting a criminal investigation related to Corinthian."

She needs to go after everyone who was complicit in the actions that led to the demise of CCi. The old guard always preached that we should be held accountable for our actions. Well, they should be held accountable for theirs.

The idiots running Zenith should also be convicted along with Duncan. They masterminded the biggest fraud of all under the umbrella of the Obama administration. All the schools should have been shut down and the students loans forgiven. If it was decided that CCi committed a crime, all victims of that crime should have the same rights. Another case of the Obama administration picking winners and losers.

Jail time for Jack, Bob , Nikee, Revina and the rest of the executives should be a no brainer. They all new they were stealing money through predatory action and false placement rates.

For fact, there are criminal charges coming. There was a grand jury indictment last spring/summer. It was a blip in the newspaper, but it was there. The fbi was also conducting an investigation.

The feds finally agreed to forgive the loans of students that were enrolled in CCi schools in CALIFORNIA during the period of 2010 through 2013. Any students enrolled in CCi schools outside CA got screwed. This action shows the reason behind the partnership of the DOE and ECMC in the Everest and WyoTech schools outside CA. Because these schools stayed open under the name of Zenith Education Group none of the present or past students qualify for federal loan forgiveness. These students were recruited using the same predatory actions and false information as the students in the California schools and should be given the same consideration for federal student loan forgiveness. Zenith Education Group continues to use the very same recruiting tactics CCi did with the exception of providing private loans. They still prey on the uneducated and poor, military veterans, and minorities drowning them in tens of thousands of dollars in student loan debt without being able to supply them with good paying jobs upon graduation.
