OMG...Upper Management!

Seriously...upper management fix middle management! Directors have no clue what is going on in their organization. Managers are sucking ass to get ahead and supervisors are running around gossiping. This is the only way the staff can get messages to you. Get the house in order and focus efforts!

Hey Anonymous202989 - You want bad leadership decisions to stop because you know what bad leadership decisions are? HAHAHA! Look man, if you knew what a good decision was, you would be in leadership. What have you done with your life? Have you built a company? Have you risen through the ranks to get to top leadership positions? No....but I have. I can assure you that your expectations and understandings of what it takes to make good decisions vs. bad ones is WAY off. You need to stop thinking that just because you choose a great TV over a bad TV or that because you've won your fantasy football league for the last 5 years that you have any comprehension of what it takes to be a leader in a large, public company. YOU DON'T....so you should shut your pie hole, humble yourself and start learning or else you'll be forever doomed to the mail room.

Really Anonymous202816? You found $250,000 of waste - how? What did you find? Assuming you're telling the truth here, then nothing was done because someone is skimming money or making the change would expose someone at my level. The reason you didn't get a promotion or more laurels is because it was an anomaly and even a broken clock is correct twice a day. It's not repeatable and you didn't exercise any skill in finding it - you just stumbled on it. How do I know? Because if you had been consistently making your bosses look good and your bosses bosses look good, you would have been promoted by now. However after finding this, you let it go to your head, like you're smarter than everyone else because YOU found this and THEY didn't. I mean your post is dripping with arrogance but it's arrogance of the false sort - YOU GOT LUCKY ONCE! Now, stop being arrogant and ditch your entitled mentality and start finding ways to make your boss look good and they just might overlook you past and promote you. I doubt it but they might.

Really Anonymous202324...spoken think a true disconnected leader! You are the problem. In one afternoon I found 250,000 dollars of waste over 3 months. I am adding value! You want to know what happened, nothing! the managers and directors squashed it. I was told, "it will be taken care of," but nothing is changing. Shake up middle management, too many layers between staff and upper management...and honestly...they suck!

Performance has no relevance to advancement. Only those who mingle with middle and upper management or play the game are considered relevant/promotable. Oh and they have to be younger than 35. Hard work is not considered in promotions.

HAHA - I've been in upper management and the problem is that you honestly believe they give one, single f what some low level employee thinks. Hell if they gave a f about when you think you would be in management. You better stop bitching about how awful everything is and start learning to add value. You need to come up with plans that will make your bosses and bosses bosses look GOOD to other people in the organization. Until you do, you'll be groveling at the feet of all those people you hate. Adjust and overcome!!!
