I was laid off in July when the rounds got started. I will leave all pertinent names out of respect but these people should be ashamed of themselves. That is my managers and team leader especially. I had an issue which I was told I knew "nothing" about what I was doing however management and coworkers were so busy, they refused to train me on the architecture of the network I was working on. This was a reasonably large public account in which I had to go through the office of personnel management to keep my job in which I passed. I was let go literally the next day after meeting with the OPM. It took three months to get this secret clearance. This job and company was absolutely the worst experience I have had in my 20 years of IT. Lots of backstabbing, people not speaking to each other just across from each others cubes, no collaboration, just on and on as all this was promised and training in my interview. However they flat out lied and said they let me go because I could not do my job and "took credit for other peoples work" when I had questions. Just deplorable. I must say I have moved on quite successfully, but as you know stuff rolls down hill and seems to be rolling at a good pace from the very top. I hope they read this understand the hell they put people through fairly new like me or to others who have been with the company for many years. Management lies to keep their jobs and it is quite evident in this company. Something I personally never experienced before and if the OPM says I am not a liar, why do my managers say I do. Just rotten people who deserve to be let go and be punished just like the people they treated in the same way. Again shame on them.
