BAT is currently running on VERY low budget mode. Given the cash outflows due to a host of legal troubles, BAT cannot afford to pay workers as good as they used to do before. This adversely impacts the overall morale and we cannot attract top talent any more. While there are no layoffs, there is a lot of social stigma surrounding folks that still work here so they leave on their own.
