Why do we not here anything as of late? A few months ago we heard so many rumors that we actually had hope. Today we hear nothing and hope is fading

It's all good. As long as we keep our job who cares about others...? Sad truth but you gonna quit cause they keep laying off others. Everyone bitches but no one is gonna stand up for greater good. Business is business. What is good?
Generally companies don't give a heads up because they want to maintain control. If they say "XX% are being let go in December..." then there is a risk of the top performers leaving and then they are stuck with those they wanted to get rid of. Oil is at a 10yr low.
Because the only people that will be left after all the layoffs are in Paris right now helping their Muslim brothers.
