All hands meeting next week and management visiting, anyone know if layoffs are also coming?
I saw someone post about job hunting on the clock. I thought they were monitoring our computers. IT can you confirm?

Insider - Do you know how the restructuring will affect faculty?
You may "know things" as you put it. There are others that know things also. You say it's B.S. that Zenith is planning more RIFs, closing more schools and consolidating others, then in your same post you write that Dave Hawn has stated there will be more of the above. I understand that upper management doesn't want people to know ahead of time what the restructuring will incur because it affects the daily routine of employees and students. But facts are facts and there will be more RIFs, closings and consolidations. Yes Zenith plans on surviving, but in a smaller capacity than they are now.
Sorry....I meant 069......
059 - I know it is tough to be objective when you are emotionally and financially invested in something, but what facts/trends/results do you see that cause you to be optimistic?
@032, I'm certain about the BS because unlike most on this site, I do "know things". And in the spirit of full disclosure, I happen to be an optimist and really believe that in the long run, ZEG will survive. My livelihood is at risk, just like everyone else. This site is a good place to vent frustrations, but I have a problem with posts that are flat out lies. Like I said, people can choose to believe me or not, but I guarantee you posts that I call out will never come through fruition. Real insiders in all likelihood will not post negative posts. They want this company to survive and thrive because either they love what they do or they want to continue earning a living.
And how certain are you that what someone else says is b.s.and untrue? I also don't believe anyone could post something on here that would help lower company morale, Zenith itself does a better job of decreasing morale than any post on here could do. How about missing payroll twice in a short period of time? Great morale building that does.
RIF's will always happen after the quarter ends, never earlier. Pay will not be paid only after the quarter ends, never earlier. Worry when it gets close to the end of the quarter. Collect the pay now and enjoy it. Hopefully they let the AD's go soon and first, that would be good business.
@ 751, Dave has already said they'll be more closures and rifs--perhaps soon. What I did say is that I would continue to call people out when they make BS, untrue statements. It's a person's choice whether they want to believe or not.
OK 556, so you're saying there will NOT be anymore RIFs or closures? All the schools will remain operational and all current employees are safe and can quit worrying about their jobs? Thank you so much for the REAL inside information about the future of Zenith Education Group and our security. I feel so relieved, now I can finance that new car I've been needing.
Yeah "insider" stop trying to do Dave Hawns job. He is the master at decreasing morale and causing stress and anxiety.
@ Insider, why do you even care if I think you're full of shit?? I will continue to comment on posts I know to be BS, and when people are claiming predictions and guesses are the truth under the guise of trying to "help" people. Those of us with real information know that it doesn't serve any useful purpose to post news that would decrease morale and cause any more fear and anxiety that's already out there. Please do them a favor and DO just sit back and watch the fireworks.
Thank you 351, it's because of people like you that I stopped posting information on here. I tried one more time to post but you've shown that ignorant people don't deserve to receive information. So I will just sit back and watch the fireworks.
I hope if they are going to RIF people they RIF over a thousand so the ones being terminated will get the 60 days of full pay and benifits like the April RIF. Everyone that got RIFed in June and September got screwed out of the 60 days of pay and benefits.
Exciting to some, not so exciting to others. Those of you that find out your campus is one of the ones that will be moving forward, this will be exciting news.
"Insider" is full of shit. Dawn Hawn announced in September that there would be more closures and/or mergers. Common sense dictates it would happen at the end of a quarter or before the new fiscal year. This person has no inside information.
318:Exciting probably means exciting to Hawn. Less payroll expenses. 😊
Insider: thank you for the good info.
But it said "Exciting News"
All large companies monitor computer, email and phone usage of their employees. Not a big deal unless you're sending out company confidential information.
As I stated a few months ago the information will be released to the employees mid to late November on the restructuring of Zenith for the 2016 fiscal year. I'm afraid there will be many unhappy people once the restructuring plan is released. Good luck to you all.
OP: Realy? IT is monitoring computers? First they need to be able to fix them before they monitor then. Hawn let go most of the IT people. Besides, as someone else said, we all have smart phones. Who. Needs the shitty Zenith computers.
205: lmao- an obviously rhetorical question as the OP is a total moron. The smell of death permeates all campuses. Ask around for start numbers. Zenith is upside down and draining ECMC daily. More schools industry wide are closing weekly - RIFs for the holidays is guaranteed before going into the new and fiscal year.
Hawn has already warned of more layoffs. The question is how many, how soon and how long until teachouts begin.
Have ever heard of smart phone?
