Thread regarding Cameron International Corp. layoffs

Honest Question ? Why are there so many racist remarks about people from India on here?

I can understand people being upset if they were losing their jobs and those jobs moving to India, but why is there so much hate on here?

I think that we need to be careful with racism, the issue should be "Who has false credentials on their resume?" Accountability is something that isn't happening through HR, and that is the issue. There is no place for lying and cheating, if it is coming out of any group leadership needs to address it and correct it. Now with all that said, I feel uncomfortable with the Indian business cast system that is brought to "Our" USA jobs. It doesn't belong here, don't attempt to use it here please - mind your manners if you are a guest in our country.

Anonymous199572 We are shocked to see the list that you have sent, stunning to see the way team members are hired by the Indian Managers in the last few years, a huge scam indeed. Shame on the HR for having nexus with these Indian managers to put the Cameron processes in dark, Good Job 199572, that's a very detailed list with the insight of their education, work background and how they are related to their managers as a family , neighbors and friends. Please publish in Linkedin if you could

Their whole family should be in Paris where the rest of their family is.

Cameron is one family, so what's wrong when the indian managers bring their family and friends into their Family organization?

Anonymous199572 100% agree with you, I know there are many valuable and best Indians around us, but sad to see few rotten eggs too in the basket, because the basket is carried by an Indian manager. Happy diwali to my "sweet" Indian friends. I am going for lunch with them now to an Indian restaurant in downtown... see ya...

Hate to split hairs here, but people from the country of India do not have there own race. It is the same as saying Mexican is a race. I don't think so, but I guess that is what is taught in schools. Is there a problem, I'm sure there is. I don't think it should be labeled something it's not. Go ahead and bash me. I can handle it

Lots of insecure, immature, racist and insect minded folks work in Cameron. Must have been butthurt from being overlooked when the promotions happened or laid off. Poor fella must live a really miserable life and gets his kicks from feeling superior but nit able to deliver the goods.

Discrimination is a term used very little these days. Anyone realizing age discrimination is one of that is rampead as CAMERON decided to clean house. Out with the old & experienced. Making a clean start for the in experienced youth. Venturing in to the unknown as part of the Obama program for change. You are secure, at least until the Tax incentives run out.

If you were in your office working and not roaming the halls, then maybe the halls wouldn't be so crowded and need to be purged in the first place

It's a shame that people still make racist remarks and sadder yet that they do so because they feel comfortable doing so because they hide behind their fake tag name. Cowards!

And constantly referring to two cultures of people as "red dot not feather" is no different than calling someone blueblack, yellow, red, chink, or whitey. This is as small minded as "the brown paper bag test" or "the 1/8th rule" . . . It's offensive, racist and uncalled for.

Perhaps these waves of layoffs will help to purge some of these small minded people from our halls.
