Makes NO since whatsoever for someone to acquire Devon until they hit rock bottom.
Market cap is still to large to make it worth the plunge and someone would have to pay a premium I am sure because Larry and the boys aren't going anywhere.
Think about it, they spent roughly $1 BILLION dollars on a tower and downtown improvements in exchange for tax incentives / breaks to make OKC their headquarters.
Made no since and still doesn't given the fact that it was built like a condominium tower and there is no office space to house all of their employees.
When it does happen you can kiss the crown jewel (tower) and your job goodbye, anyone who would buy Devon would buy the assets and NOT the people of the tower and move on...
