Who will be hit the most - the word on the street is that IT, Finance and HR might be seeing the biggest hits. Now, there is going to be a ton of redundancies on the business side but at this point all of us are just guessing. Overall, it may be brutal for many of us. I am in Marketing and I am not sure if I will have my job a few months for now. Now, ACE-Chubb layoffs may never materialize but there is a ton of anxiety across the board - I can tell you that

Look at all the duplication of effort. Layoffs are in the future!!!
Word is yes lay-offs are inevitable but unclear where. We also heard IT might take the biggest hit. Regarding business lines commercial will probably take a hit. Heard that E&O/Pro Liability line. Something about redundant and its a small segment already established with ACE. Who knows. Things will start happening first quarter.... stay positive everyone.
