A number I know we're told they were retiring at age 50. Layoff in disguise. Oxy still part owner of CRC who had to let go lots of people after Icy dumped all their debt on that BU. Can anyone say Enron?
Same thing happens at ALL companies....get a clue and quit whining.

Amen to that. Luckily I have a great team lead and peers. But that's without saying, I am down the hall from a regulatory group and I feel so bad for them. I watch most of them do nothing but mess around all day while a small group works their asses off. Then I hear the hard workers getting yelled at and belittled like children. I feel really bad for them, it gets painful to witness or hard to tune out.
