I worked for f.m.c. in the 70's and 80's in Brea calif. in 1986 our g.m. told all of us corp. was shutting us down. it took a year to close and move to Stephenville. they were tired of calif. rules and regulations. I started there in 73 and was done in 87. I was offered to re locate to Texas, but declined. at the time (back then) it was a very good co. to work for. I did not want to leave, but didn't have a choice at the time. we had 3 people move to your plant. we also trained people from there to run the machines that went to Texas. sorry to hear you all are going through the same as I am today. im still in So Cal. working for Nov. (national oil well Varco) take care. f.m.c. has a special place in my memory.
Nice. A troll.
I'm not inciting. I'm gremp!. I win.
If so, we need to talk. Quit inciting.
Not saying anything outside what is known. Do I know you?
I am not happy I've taken more work on for another business... Who is writing these comments? What is your function?
Considering jobs were taken from elsewhere, yes, stephenville will see effects. Business on this end will be sent to another branch. In consolidation the business is being changed. So jobs will soon be terminated.
There is no surprise here.
