Do you think this is something that may happen (Job cuts in 2016) - how likely is it?

Lay offs came and went in 2015; I've heard that there were some layoffs through December 2015 at every level at the corporate offices in Deerfield.
I think if you pay id already at or above 10 dollars you will get a raise if you exceed expectations in your performance review. Which is unlikely due to the way Walgreens is set up.
The announcement was made today ! Wage increase $10.00 an hour effective 3/1/2016 for anyone making less then 10.00 currently. Several staff members were very happy (the kids) although it left the "Full Time" hard working, 40 hr wk, middle age, individuals unhappy :( sad to say, but true ! Here in "Jersey" a full time worker , dept head (5+yrs) makes 10.25 currently, and the KIDS (teens, part time,don't show up, come in late, on cel phones, don't do there job) are getting a 2.00 hick !!!!! is that fair to the full timers ? No ! It's not. Am i happy for the teenage kids, yes I am . I was one once. Although I see how hard my fellow staff members works (adults), and that" s what gets me sick ! they should get a Hick as well !
Now they need to watch for Lay offs & write ups for sure
Yes especially if minimum wage going up in some states. California minimum wage going up to $10 January 2016. and the $11 in July 2016. Lay offs or write ups is coming. Prepare now!
