The terminal disease is pollution by the NCR culture, where internal turf wars trump delivering products customers need. Teradata has been in a death spiral since the forced union with NCR. The spin off didn't purge any of the poisonous NCR culture. And the main survivors are the very NCR bureaucrats who precipitated the demise.
