What is the likelihood of Apple layoffs in Cupertino in 2016? Please let me know if you have any information.

Apple had another round of layoffs on May 5, especially targeting individuals over age 40 and those with medical conditions (including someone on medical leave).

Apple will double in size in next 5 years
First you will see hiring freezes and scaling back of ambitious expansion plans. Then the pruning of non-core LOBs. Followed by talk of cleaning out the dead wood that has accumulated through years of growth will begin. [aka Settling Political Scores] Eventually, they will toss 10-15% overboard to make the activist investors happy.
Fear not for Cupertino real estate values. Although the Communist Party has cut off the flow of money out of China, newly minted Facebook millionaires continue to take up the slack.
Stock tanking OK - end of the world, huh... Perhaps you didn't notice but Facebook and Google dropped an even freakier amount at the same time as Apple, although two hours later all recovered significantly.
