What is the likelihood of Gannett layoffs in McLean in 2016? Please let me know if you have any information.

I am sure there will be plenty of layoffs. Dickey has said he will cut $67 million from Gannett's budget by the end of 2016. What will happen to those who did not take the voluntary buyouts offered in 2015? Look for more Gannett buildings to meet the fate of the Asbury Park Press' once proud structure at the Jersey Shore--sold and torn down!!!! I see more and more bloodbaths. The idea that newspapers are on their way out is a crock. The Jersey Shore is home to numerous thriving weekly newspapers. They cover their areas well and cater to mom and pop stores for advertising. Gannett has destroyed the Asbury Park Press and numerous careers, ending them with layoffs and buyouts.
