Newsday and New12 are lose leaders for CVC every year. They just get written off.
Once the sale to Altice is done there WILL be massive layoffs. Just look at what they have said publicly . Yes most of the immediate ones will be on the 3rd floor .EVPs,SVPs and VPs. But what happens when staff has no one to report too? look at all the admins who right NOW don't have much work. Think of all the people in accounting that are needed because they are public and will be a privately owned company in the future. Your EVP -corporate secretary just left to be general counsel of Samsung USA. His staff will go. Direct customer facing support and field are safe for now. If you are at Bethpage you know how bloated the staff is.
