What is the likelihood of Coca Cola layoffs in Atlanta in 2016? Please let me know if you have any information.

Yes, the layoffs are country wide. I was in Atlanta and numerous groups from Procurement to Supply Chain have been impacted. Regardless of where you sit you should more than likely expect layoffs unless of course you are in the plants. If you are in the warehouse, instead of being laid off you will get moved over to a bottler.
is this happening in every state? All these comments are being posted but no one is saying where they are from, Only one person who happened to be from California.
For a company this big...it is very unfortunate that people are loosing their job and the bad part is you don't know when is your last day..you could be called in the office and that same day you will advise to clear your desk..there's no notice at all..so it's like a waiting game for some of us
Yes, there will unfortunately be job losses in 2016. There was a town hall meeting in mid December announcing it. Employee's will be notified in January. Some positions have already been eliminated and it's very sad. Too bad this company is so money hungry and the top players keep getting their bonuses while others that are doing all the hard work for the company are losing their jobs. Coke is corrupted at all levels.
I think it's very likely - I started recently but I can tell you that there is a lot of anxiety in my group
