What is the likelihood of Cameron International layoffs in Houston in 2016? Please let me know if you have any information.

What, eight days after they announce they are bought by Schlumberger they announce a layoff blood bath in Vicksburg. I swear if you hear that Schlumberger is buying out the company you work for, be worried. Be very worried.
The likelihood is 100% that there will be layoffs in 2016 at some or all locations; plans have been made for the 2016 headcount budget. It is unfortunate, but will happen. No pay cuts in the conversations, but with SLB coming in; who knows what will happen.
@ 192701 - Likelihood? VERY HIGH!! After all it is SLB we are talking about here. Just take a look at their past acquisitions and you will see what happened to the employees of those companies.....MASSACRE!!!

I would say yes, and quite possibly if you get to stay you will be asked to reduce your pay, then again when SLB come into the party
